Streaming from internet is another thing (it will always depend on internet servers.) i have to say that i use only TV speakers (and i also have no issues) but you should have no issues with video if everything is well configured check your U9-H installed apps (and uninstall those you don't need). check also your U9-H firmware and update only if you need: you must review your setup (restart router, restart U9-H, etc) Even if you install coreElec you will have the same issues (most likely because the problem is there.) Sometimes i use (windows) bs player (but only for test) I always use and used Kodi (i am from XBMC (only for XBOX) time, now i use the latest kodi 19.3) and i have no issues (Streaming from my NAS, Pcs, etc) you should have no issues streaming from ethernet gigabit and even 4K videos (streaming from your PC) If your network (router, lan config, U9-h) and the files you are watching are ok (and well configured): I am looking for good 4k playback with my receiver - SONY STR dn 1070 - currently in 5.1 setup.Ĭlick to expand. You said that even videos that are shared on your computer you have issues. I am considering downloading VLC or BS player. ![]() I was thinking what is the best player for my box - what are you guys using. No studdering when I play movies from the shared folder. ![]() It plays all my videos, I can download subtitles. So I decided to use SPMC as it is working ok-ish. Last I checked even vidoes that were shared on my computers (using only gigabit wired connection) was having studdering issues. With KODI 19 the easy setup for downloading subtitles from BS player plugin also disappeared.Īlso tried going to KODI 18 but things were not the same as before so I kind of gave up on KODI. In other words KODI 19 was a disaster for my Minix U9-h. If the video file was lower than 1080p it just messed audio and video sincronisation. However, when KODI released the 19th version it all went downhill. I was pretty happy with the performance of the TV box using kodi 18. ![]()
